key ...aftermarket?

I find it annoying to have a separate transponder key and remote for my 04 highlander which results in a big bulge in my pocket ...is there any aftermarket switchblade key (like the cool one my wife has for her 04 jetta wagon) or single key with remote on the key itself that I can get?

now that time has gone by, I wonder if any of the nicer keyfobs from any of the newer models will work with the 04 highlander?

not much ahs changed in the Fob dept. Only the keyless start sytem is new and will not work in the older gens.

I have seen a Key with fob built-in but yu would be hard pressed to get a dealer to program the transponder of the key on this aftermarket key/fob combo. Dealers will not program any Non-Toyota transponder key.

makes a helluva lump in my pocket and I have a black&blue mark on my thigh with the Toyota logo!!

Is it really a big deal now??? This is not a Mercedes, BMW or Audi yu know.

Honestly. If it ruly is a problem, just leave the remote home in your drawer and forget about it.
