Default Fuel Gauge

I recently noticed that when my fuel gauge gets to the 1/2 way mark, it occasionally bounces up to the 3/4 full marker. My '01(6c-awd) highlander is parked on a slight decline in my driveway. I wonder if anyone else has the same problem. Is it the sensor in the fuel Tank??

Thanks!!

Default Re: Fuel Gauge

This has happened to me only twice in the 5 years I've had a Highlander. I assumed it was due to an incline of some sort, but never really looked into it as it occurs so infrequently.
