Default Re: Is this a good price to pay for 06 Highlander Limited?

Sounds like yu are in the ball park for a deal.
I bought an 06 h/l ltd. in may .(6938A)(4wd) ( 3rd row is standard on all v6 H/L's for '06) Every option ,no lie, I mean all option codes were selected. Yes, sunroof ,leather/heated seats, running boards, first-aid kit, roadside assitance kit,tow- prep, tow-hitch reciever, NAV ,rear seat dvd(all factory coded options). The milennium silvers were in abundance too. Not a popular color as i found out , but I have always owned silver toyotas since 1981.That's good for me. Its my color. Silver rarely looks dirty .

Anyway, a LOADED H/L Ltd. max's out just under $42.000 as my sticker stated. My buy price was $35,008.25 + sales tax. In May.06 Toyota was giving a $1000 rebate, which the dealer was kind enough to apply up front Pre-Tax. This H/L Ltd. was on a boat still in the Pacific when I left the deposit and my name was attached to the Vin on that specific H/L. The dealer gave me a copy of the boat manifest and the car was deliverd on time 3 weeks later. It was sold to me before it made it to dealer or regional inventory. I believe that was the key to getting this one at just below invoice.

I shopped for about six months and researched the H/L to the hilt.
I hooked up with this local dealer through 'Don't pay sticker price .com"

Deals like this are very often seen on Fords, GM's and Chryslers. But very rarely on Toyotas and Hondas.

I'm stuck on Toyota/Lexus products. I guess, being a former tech at a Toyota dealer in the 1980's kind of made me A Toy fan.
