Default how to replace door courtesy lights

Hi everyone! Anybody knows how to remove the door courtesy lights cover? Wanted to pry it open with a screw driver but afraid it might break.

Hi,

I recently replaced my door curtesy lights with bright white LED bulbs and it is very easy. All you need is a thin flat blade screw driver. Slide the screw driver between the clear lense and the door and gently pry it outward. You wont break the lense.

If you need some pictures and instructions on this, please let me know and I will be happy to put something together for you.

Hope this helps.

Any time. I really enjoy putting together "how to's"

Thanks for the compliment about the Chrome Door Handles. I just found out that on the 06 Highlander sport, it comes with real chrome exterior and interior door handles. I am going to buy the interior Chrome door handles in the next week or so and I am trying to decide if I should stick with the outside chrome handles I have or buy the all chrome from the sport.

I purchased the chrome rear garnish off a highlander hybrid to replace the painted one on my car. (this is the part that houses the license plate lights and has the toyota emblem on it) I really like the look of it as well. I will post pictures soon.

As you can tell, I love Chrome!!

Thanks again.

Hi again!

Have you done mods on your fog lights? My HL is said to be pre wired, and was just looking at installing the fog light itself and hook it up with one of those white "socket" things hanging from the headlight wirings.

Thanks.

I have not done any mods with the fog lights. Mine came with the factory fogs installed, but I believe there is a how to on here for installing the fog lights. not sure, but check it out.

I will do some research for you as well and let you know what I find.

Good luck with it.
