It is a "Stop" where the pedal will bottom out at Wide open throttle. Engineered Toyota design(part of the ETC/Fly by wire )....This info. is not significant. And it would be useless info provided in the owners manual.
Sort of like explaining all technical component's & purpose in the Owners Manual. Meaningless stuff.
