2006 Highlander Sirius Sportster replay install
I just finished the install of a sportster Replay in my 2006 Highlander. Overall the installation wasn't that bad, and it came out pretty good (IMHO). I really didn't want to give up any valuable storage space or have it in my line of vision. Still need to clean up the wire runs to the unit, but wanted to drill a minimal amount of holes. The hardest part is running the antenna, but if you run it through the rubber access plug on top of the rear hatch, you can then snake it under the headliner and across to the passenger side trim panels. If you take the cover plates off the rear side trim panels, you can loosen the phillips screws just a bit so you can tuck the wires behind the panels. From there, head to the floor and run the wire under both passenger side sill panels. I used the suction cup mount and drilled three holes through the attaching plate and screwed in with three #8 3/4" sheet metal screws into the side of the console.
Email me f you would like pictures, I guess they are too large to post on this forum
