Default My wife surprised me with a couple of additions...

...no not twins, running boards (side bars, nerf bars, etc.) and the rear spoiler.

There are pros and cons about the spoiler, but I always loved the appearance. To me the Highlander always looked like a mini-van from the rear.

Anyway, whaddaya think?

In our winters, ( Canada ) I always was curious as to wheather the spoiler kept the back windshield clean as the Highlander tends to create a swirl affect which blocks the back window with debris.

To some extent yes it does keep it clear in the center. The one on my ML worked much better, but this one works to a little extent keepingh it cleaner in the center.

I like it more for shielding the rear window from ice/snow.

from experience with and without an OE spoiler, yes it does a great job of keeping the rear tailgate clear of dust and water.
