Default Highlander tinted window photo's?

Just wondering if anyone has some photo's of their Highlander with tinted side windows and what % of tint you went with. Also what maintenance issues you may have with the tint.
Cleaning, scratches, etc. Thx

Here ya go, I think we had the vehicle for 2 weeks before I had the front windows tinted. I just thought it looked funny with the front windows not tinted and rear windows tinted (factory). I asked for legal tint so it is probably medium (20%). I've had tinted windows since I started driving, the main thing you have to do is get a quality tint. I prefer Llumar films but some like 3M.

Not the greatest photo for checking the tint out but still much appreciated. Any better ones? You know you need camera practice! Lol.

Do-It-Yourself Re: Highlander tinted window photo's?

I had posted a reply earlier just after yu started your thread, but I don't know why it never made it here.

I'll give yu much as I can...from 22 years of tint on my cars.

First Never use ammonia containing cleaner... it will burn /haze /change the color of the tint prematurely. And remember tint doesn't last forever...it is just very thin plastic film. Treat it gently and it will stay crystal clear years longer. Eventually it turns color ,developes fine sratches etc. The most I got out tint is 7 years before I felt it needed replacing. That was the 3M brand. Most people don't keep cars that long though.

I like 3M brand, but there are other brands. 3M is more money and Pros tend not to use it much these days because there are now many cheaper alternative brands. I feel 3M has a thicker Mil rating. I got the most wear out of of 3M, but I'm using other Asian film right now. I don't recall what brand.

I always get a band across my windshield, and the Highlander especially needs it in my book. Just by design and ergonomics of the glass/ driver position. I feel the visors don't go low enough also

Tint will give yu privacy to occupants and items in your vehicle.

Tint will prevent uv damage/sun fade to the interior...a major plus.

It will protect your eyes too.

I tinted my 06 H/L Ltd. front doors to match the OE rear glass. It was close at 65%...Same for the Top windshield Band.

I'm having a hard time get my pix posted.
I have many good shots of my Millenium Silver H/L. I'll keep trying
Good luck
LT
