Default Average MPH Display on Multi-Information Display

I just purchased a 2007 Highlander Limited and have found that there doesn't seen to be any way to reset the Average MPG reading. It will let me reset the average MPH reading (which seems a useless function). I did some checking on the Toyota Tech site and it appears the option to reset the Average MPG was last seen in the 2003 owners manual but gone from the 2004+ OMs.

Does anyone know of a way to reset the Average MPH?

Thanks

My 2004 only resets when you put gas in it. I also wish it had a range display also.

Thanks breugel.
We have only refilled it once and didn't notice, after reading your reply we went out to do a fill up to check and as soon as we started to move it reset. I wish they still had the manual reset like the early models as that would be more useful. I couldn't imagine it not resetting in some way as it would become a pretty useless number after a few thousand miles.
