Hi guys and gals.

I'm the owner of a "new to me" 2002 black highlander limited that I got in Nov 08. It had 122k miles on it but I had it checked out and my mechcanic says its all highway miles and that I should be good to for another 150k. I'm glad to have found this site. I have already learned that I'm not the only victim of the dreaded driver side visor problem. I look forward to learning more about my ride and what to expect out of it both good and bad.

I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander Sport V6 AWD in silver, with black leather interior. Purchased with only 125KM in March 09'.

Previously I had a 2002 Highlander Limited V6 4WD in black with tan leather. I also owned that Highlander since new and it was a great SUV! It had 135K when I sold it on Kijiji in March 09'. In December of 08' my VSC & CEL came on, so I took it to the dealer. It was in for 2 weeks over the Christmas holidays and when I went to pick it up, it died on the highway coming home! It needed 2 air/fuel sensors and an 02' sensor + a battery. It had been working great after I got it fixed but I needed a car that I could trust, and I couldn't afford to have the car in the shop again for an extended period of time.

Hi everyone. I joined this forum some months back and just noticed this thread, so thought I would post here.

We bought our used 2004 Highlander 2wd V6 just over 2 years ago now, and the only parts I've had to buy so far is a battery, and then today, some new rubber for it (BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A Tour). So we have gotten the legendary Toyota reliability that we had hoped for. We're sold on Toyota products, and in the limited time I have been posting on this forum, have found this forum to be extremely helpful. I have recommended this forum to several Toyota-owning friends.
