Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Highlander Owners Introduce Yourself...
Hello All! I just joined and am delighted to talk to other Highlander owners! I have a 2003 Highlander Limited and love it. I do have some dents, however and was wondering if there are any dent experts out there. I have a dent in my left bumper and one in the back door and would like to fix it myself. Any suggestions on how to take the bumper off
to blow out the dent? Also, how can you dislodge the inside of the back door from the outside of the back door to blow out the dent across the back? It seems easy enough but thought I would check with the experts on line. I appreciate any suggestions!
One thing about Toyota's -- they run, and run, and run!!!!!

New to the Highlander side here. Former Tundra owner, went to the dark side (Nissan) for 15 months and couldn't take it anymore. I just ordered a 06 Limited AWD today. Can't wait for it to get here. Guess I need to re-up my subscription.
Just recently purchased a used low mileage 2004 Highlander V6 4wd. Looking forward to learning more about how to care for this vehicle..my first new(er) vehicle since 1996......
I see consumer repair amnuals are not yet released(August)...have to replace a broken passenger side windshield wiper refill(stuck to window and tore itself off)

I rarely surf the net but having nothing to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon and no one using the computer, I decided to check out this site and read all the posts. I could only say that this is a wonderful site, very informative, very civil (compared to other sites), and the members are very helpful. This is a great site!

We purchased, on 5/29/06, an 06 Highlander Hybrid. We had a 04 Sienna van, but the 3.3L engine in the Sienna (alone) was not well suited for some of the small foothills we must travel. The 06 Highlander Hybrid (with 4WD-i) gets that extra torque from the hybrid system which allows this vehicle (same weight as the Sienna) to move up the hills without a problem.

Just Bought '02 Highlander For My Parents! Love The Vehicle But The Sun Visors Both Fall Down And Obscure Vision Over The Slightest Bump In The Road. Vehicle Only Has 40k Miles!
Seems Like A Safety Issue?? Anyone Know If Toyota Is Helping With This Problem Or Have Any Ideas How To Repair.
P.s. Has Homelink And Lighted Passenger Visors

Just purchased a 2003 Highlander over the Memorial day weekend. At age 63, It's my first Toyota (bought my son and daughter '86 Celicas and drove them whenever I could) and I'm lovin' it. The ride is unbelievably smooth and I like sitting up high. It gives you a different perspective. I've always had cars that sat low to the ground.
Having problems with keys and remotes, so I'll be back with questions and to look into membership. I never posted on a forum before so this is all rather new to me. Looking forward to it.
