Hello there Highlander owners.

My wife and I have a 2004 Highlander V6 and I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to "unlock" the trip computer?

I have a Mazda3 and was able to unlock trip coputer feature and thought it might be possible with our Highlander.

Any suggestions as to where to look or what to do would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Nathan

What do you mean by "unlock"?

By "unlock" I mean that if it is part of the whole computer already installed in the vehicle, then turning it on.

I was able to do it in my other car, which is a Mazda3, but the feature was there, but since I didn't pay for the higher end model, the feature was locked...but someone figured out how to unlock the feature and now I have it.

I was just wondering if a 2004 Highlander (non-limited) has a similar feature.

Mine uses the computer display above the radio and has a button to the side that changes the display. Does yours have this?

No, it doesn't. We have only a clock. If that's where the computer readout is, then it's not possible.

Thanks for the info.
