Highlander / Kluger Headlamp Covers

Does anybody know where can I get these headlamp covers? (http://kluger.toyota.com.au/TWR/cont...atic/19879.jpg)

They have them for the Kluger in Austrailia, but I'm not seeing them on the Toyota USA Highlander accessories page Toyota.com : Vehicles : Highlander : Accessories

I've use the plastic stick on film in the past on my other cars and I don't think it would work as well on the shape of the Highlander headlight shape. I'd really not like to have them unpeel and get dirt stuck under the edges (like happend on my VW)

I guess I could buy and ship them from Austrailia, but I'd like to get them here in the US if possible.

I know you said you might have to just order them from AU, so if you do, then here is the contact info for a Toyota Dealer in AU. It looks like they sell the ones you have in the picture for the Kluger.

I will keep looking for the US clear headlight protection.

I used the x-pel clear headlight protection on mine and it is a bitch to mould around the headlight.

I ended up taking it off.

I've contacted Black Toyota in Warwick, Queensland.

We'll see what comes of it.

I think the tinted covers are silly, you need HID's to just make up for the loss of the tinting.

I wonder what the chances are of getting Toyota USA to start selling these, or letting people purchase them if we were able to get a part number.

I know BMW you can buy European parts from the dealer if you have the part numbers, I've also been able to do that somewhat from VW.

99% of US Toyota Parts depts. won't do it. ie. Import Global Toyota stuff even though parts fit. Carson Toyota will only do it on profitable bulk orders for the most part. Largely "select" Accessories. Whatever select maeans.

I Called an Australian Dealer some time back and they said they would not ship or deal with the US dollar. Duties & tariff's. I guess, it is not profitable.

Toyota restricts their Global parts network. They have a tight fist on the various Markets abroad....for what its worth.
