Default FM won't stay locked on stations!

My 2003 HL radio seems to have developed a problem. It doesn't matter if I select a station, or lock it into the memory, the stations drift by themselves while I am listening to them. IE if station is 103.1 FM, it will drift by itself to 103.3 or 102.9 by itself. Has anyone else had this problem?

Dont have a Highlander, but my moms 04 Avalon did that, so we took it in about a year ago...they allegedly "replaced" the radio, but it still continues to do it...have it on 93.3 drifts to 94.1 or 92.5 randomly and when i select the preset button for 93.3, it hunts for the station before setting

Try moving the tuning knob, doing this fixed the same problem on my 2000 Sienna. It occured several time before I decided to try the tuning knob. It's been several years and the problem has never re-occured.

You know when I read your suggestion Siennabram I said to myself this sounds crazy, but I tried it anyway. No what? So far I have no more drifting of stations on the radio. Don't know how it fixed the problem, why it fixed the problem, or for how long, but yes it did work. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sounds like a "sticky" push button that doesn't break contact (could be the search button).
