Default Ivan Stewart Bumper Install Question

I installed my new IS Grille and Bumper Cover today but have a question. It seems that my bumper leaves about an inch gap, big enough to slide your fingers through, between it and the bottom of the grille. Is this normal? Anybody run into this problem? I will post pictures shortly showing what I mean.

Clay

Talking quick fix

yes i had the same problem, easy fix! ill tell you how, if your by yourself , loose one side of the 2 bottom bracket bolts 14mm ones then wiggle bumper, aslo when wiggleing look under if braket is moveing, then go underneath push the bumper as hard as you can upward , then tighten bolts do the same on other side, you will see diference, took my awhile to level it off but it can be done, aslo use tape measure to get exect height so no bumper droop is there

Do you mean loosen the two 14mm bolts on each side and push up really hard, then retighten? The 14mm bolts are the ones that attach it to the frame on each side. Also, what is the proper spacing between the bumper and grille? Thanks for the reply.

Red face

yeah the 14mm bolts, the perfect gap is line up yourself directly stright to your headlight then shove one finger from bumper to hood frame ,your fingernail should only fit!! if whole knuckle goes in , go up more!
