Default Got my Trifecta

I know I'm breaking a rule by posting about something new without also posting a picture, but I just got my Extang Trifecta last night for my 2007 Tundra Double Cab. I paid $330 from TruckAddons.com. I ordered on saturday and it was at my house on wednesday.

First of all, what I wanted to report was that if you order the version made for the deck rails, it works just fine if you don't have the rails. I wasn't sure whether I'd get the rails in the future. Both part numbers cost the same, but the one I got had a small bag of parts for the rail system. If I get the rails, I'll dig that bag of parts out and be in good shape.

Second, I literally could have installed it while waiting at a long red light. No complaints there, and it was very easy to get on straight. I did kind of have to lay in the bed to get the front clamps on, but no big deal.

Finally, this is a minor issue, but I'll need to mess with the front to back spacing. I lined it up pretty much with the front of the front rail, but it sticks out a little bit on the back corners. It's not a big deal, but I'm going to tweak a little bit. I think part of what's throwing me off is that the rear of the bed has very steep sides and is the tailgate is pretty thin. They couldn't have made the cover much different, except maybe make the whole thing 1/2 inch shorter.
