Adding tie-downs in bed on 2007 Tundra?
I took my new 2007 Tundra on its inaugural run to the lumber yard today and bought about twenty 12-ft 2x6's. I discovered a problem that I didn't have with my old truck. Tying down a fairly short (height-wise) load is pretty difficult because there aren't any tie-down points at the BOTTOM of the bed. Using the tie-downs half-way up the wall don't really help matters any...
I've scanned all 10 pages of search results for tie downs, but there wasn't anything for 2007's. Does anyone have any solutions? Has anyone added a tie-down points? I've seen the D-rings on the older trucks using the bed bolts, but I'd like to have my tie-down points further outboard. By the way, I know I could have just left the tailgate up, but I'd still like to find a solution.
Thanks,
Korey
