Talking New supplier of Bumpers and Sliders

I saw one of these bumpers on a Tacoma and found his website. The URL follows:
http://www.demello-offroad.com/home.html
I liked the looks of his products so I e-mailed him. The e-mail exchange follows. Take a look at his stuff and let him know if you are interested in anything.

Jason,

Thanks for the info. Please keep me in mind and let me know when you have anything available. I will post the information I have on TundraSolution.com. The people on there are always looking for sources of improvement equipment. There has already been a lot of talk about the lack of replacement bumpers and the availability of sliders.

thanks,
mike

Mike,

I am as my wife has a 01 Tundra. I plan to make sliders first, bumpers & skid plates. As far as a time Line I would say no sooner than Mid to late Febuary.

Are you planning on making anything for the Toyota Tundra? I saw a picture of a rear bumper that looked good. I am looking for a rear bumper and thinking about sliders.

thanks,
mike

Looks like cool stuff. I've never seen one of those bed bars, but they look pretty neat. I wish you could blow up their pictures by clicking on them...the small ones don't give much detail.

I wonder if they are in San Diego? I saw one of the Tacos had a Kearny Mesa Toyota sticker on it.

Jason makes rock solid stuff. You can read some of his adventures on the TTORA board. I have borrowed some of his ideas on my fab jobs.

oy! that 4x4 bumper under "future projects" is exactly what i've been looking for. i was thinking i'd have to do it myself, this might be easier...it looks like their 4x4 bumper (with winch) would have the clearance i'm after and still be able to run a 12K# (or maybe just a 9500#) winch. it even has the side protectors for the front 1/4 panels.

Default Slider

Jason e-mailed me and wants to know:
Can you ask them what they prefer? Square or round bolt on or weld on.
Post here what you prefer or contact him directly. He seems very willing to make what we want. His wife has a 01 Tundra so he has a test rig. His prices seem very good.

Hey Guys,

This is Jason DeMello of DeMello OffRoad. I plan to start making stuff in late Febuary. I'm really busy right now but I look forward to making new and exciting products!

I can attach a few pics that are bigger of the Bed bars, sliders and other products. My web site designer hasn't had allot of time to fix the picture problem.

If you have any questions feel free to e-mail or ask here.

Thank you
Jason DeMello

I tried to attach some pics But I can't figure it out. anyone want to help me I have a ton of pics.

Hi Jason,

Good to see you on the site. I would like sliders that bolt on using as many of the holes that are already in the frame as possible. I would then like to see a stout rear bumper, not a tube, but maybe 2x3 or 2x4 steel.

Mike,

I was looking at the frame this weekend. I should be able to make some bolt on sliders that use the holes that are all ready there.

I do make a square bumper right now for the Tacoma I just started making it's square 3x6in with reciever and two heavy shakle points.

I also plan on making tube one's.. Right now it's just a matter of having enough time! I do this after my regular job and on weekends I have a part time worker that helps out but my lead times are still a little long. I hope to have them shorter soon!

It won't be too long. My wife has been bugging me for a while to do something for her truck. She gets tires on the 14th of Feb it shouldn't be too much longer.
