Default Removing rearview mirror.

I use only the side mirrors, so the rearview mirror only serves to obstruct my field of view. An individual on the Tacoma thread refernced a site, but I can't open it????

On my '94, the mirror was on a socket type connection mounted on the roof, but on the '08, the mirror is mounted on the windshield, so I don't want to just start pulling on it.

Has anyone removed the mirror from the windshield mount on their Toyota? Can you give me a little instruction/how to?

thanks,

Default Re: Removing rearview mirror.

i think there's a small screw securing it, loosen the screw and slide the mirror towards the roof to remove from the mount.
