Does anyone know where the A/C Cabin Filter is Located?
Hi, this is the first time that I have posted anything on this forum. I have a 2005 Access Cab Tundra with a V6 and automatic transmission. I recently received a notice from my dealer that I need to change the A/C Cabin Filter as part of the 25,000 mile maintenance and it will cost $80. I currently do not have $80 to spend on that. I would prefer to change it myself if I knew where it was located. Does anyone know where this A/C Cabin Filter is located and is it something that I could change myself?
dealers will tell you anything to get their paws on your ride and all they wanta do is charge you an arm and a leg for crap ya do not need most of the time!!
they are trying to get you to come in so they can get into your wallet, the cabin filters are only on the 07 and 08's?
Toyota Parts and Service 30K service says if applicable? but does not specify which engine might have it?

There is no cabin filter on any 1st gen Tundra's. Probably a computer generated dealer letter without any model info but it probably works to get a unknowledgeable customer into the dealership.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to siphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
If your engine doesn't consume ANY oil it will seize???
Some people should not be allowed access to tools without books!!!
