Default Ashtray Stuck any ideas? 2005 Tundra DC

I never close my ashtray because it is always full of little stuff, keys, pens and somehow it got closed and now I can't get it open. I think to remove the thing you have to slide out the actual tray. I have removed that panel underneath to try to gain access. I am going to take it to the dealer or force it open...if possible. I don't know what is hung in there but it is pretty solid. I have pulled, banged....I can get it open maybe 1/4 inch. I hope someone has osme good ideas. Thanks, Bill

probably have something jammed under the release. If you can get it our 1/4 inch try shoving a flathead screwdriver in there (in the middle) and push down on the lever.. or just moce it around to try and knock chit loose...
