Default overlapping existing head liner with new material?

Hey guys, quick question. Since my flip down monitor was stolen awhile back I have this huge hole in the middle of my headliner. I called the Dealership and they want close to $950 bucks! What I wanted to know is if I could just spray 3m Super Spray Adhesive directly on the existing headliner or would it not adhere as well? I know on my Integra I was able to do it but the headliner was vinyl and it stuck pretty well. With the Tundra I'm worried because it's fabric that it may not stick as well? Any suggestions or maybe a better spray adhesive? Looking at the headliner it doesn't look like you can separate the fabric since the board itself is pretty thin and flimsy. HELP!!!
