Default HVAC knob needs replacing

I'll start with the basic 4-11....its a 2003 Tundra . Happened a few days ago while leaving walmart. Tried to adjust the A/C in the hot and humid Texas weather when the middle temperature knob came off. Looks like the plastic portion of the knob cracked. I tried to be cheap, bad idea i know, and super glued it but it fits loosely and doesn't maintain a firm hold. Its not even funny. Anyways has anyone purchased replacment hvac knobs from your local dealer and how much you paid for a replacement. Took a chance to look up ebay motors but no dice there.

thanks
-steve

this somewhat happened to mine from taking the dash off to many times. if you still want to save your money, go grab one of those flimsy plastic grocery bags, or a clear plastic bag that bolts and screws come in (the bolt bag is thicker) and tear off a small peice that is slightly larger than the square hole in the knob, and wrap it around the post and shove the knob back on. the plastic film takes up the extra room and holds it nicely.

go to dealership and get them before you mess up the switches, they are expensive!
