Exclamation clicking noise from driverside seatbelt

I just purchased my 03 Tundra about 2 months ago and didn't notice this at first, but now it is getting really annoying. I get this clicking noise like when the locking mechanism on the seatbelts activate when you brake at certain time. I can't seem to locate the source of the noise, but it seems to be coming from the vicinity of the seatbelt lock from above. Has anybody had this problem and if so, any suggestions on how to suppress or get rid of it. The noise is not constant, but very random actually. Sometimes it will clink when Im parking, sometimes when I'm turning and sometimes when Im just accelerating. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2001 and I know several of us with older trucks had a problem with the pivot point of the upper arm (the piece above your shoulder where it attaches to the cab) making a noise. It was barely audible, but it was aggravating as all get out! The problem was that the pivot wasn't lubricated in any way. I just took the bolt and washers out and put some white lithium grease in between the washers and pivot and that solved my problem.

Is your window down part way? I thought the same thing but fact was its the window. The window in my case sticks to to seal and when you hit a bump it ticks. lubed it up but still clicks , good luck

It ususally only happens on mine when it's pointing straight down. I found pushing it forward made the noise stop.

Had the same problem with mine, took it to the dealer and they greased the seat belt arm and no more clicking noise in my ear. Sounds like ibleedblue knows how to do it your self. But if its under warranty I would make the dealer do it so maybe they will take care of this before they sell it.
