Who's truck door (00-06 model) keeps hitting them in the back? - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I have an 00 model tundra and was wondering if anyone got the door stopper or holder replaced? looks like a lot of work or is it easy?

I've replaced them on my Honda, it shouldn't be too bad. You have to remove the door panel, knock out the pin where it connects to the body, then remove the two screws that hold it on the door. The door stopper is removed through the door.

My driveway is on a slight incline. If I park the truck there the front doors will stay open at first. But if you bump the truck getting stuff out you know it's coming ...
KA-WUMP. Right in your back. I guess I've gotten used to it but it sure would be nice to get the door holder fixed.
