Smile Are

ARE purchased used form Tundra Solutions.com member. had re-painted to match. It's 2 years and I've had it for one and all is perfect. Couldn't be hapier with it. ARE LS II hard tonneau with sport rack. The sport rack gets a lot of use too.

Late update: The LEER dealer replaced my defective cap with a brand new unit for my Tundra. This one is solid as a rock. I'm happy.
Also, I had removed the LEER on my T100 a few months ago and it has been sitting out in the open, dragged around from place to place, dropped off a stand I had it on... basically abused.
I got the bed LINE-X'd and decided to put the cap back on. Aside from a few new scratches, it's back in action. Not bad for $300 used. LEER gets my vote.

I've never owned a ARE. This is my second Leer. My first I had 7 years went thru hell and back...no fading, no hardware problems, never one issue. This one for my 03 silver sky is an absolute perfect color match. Try asking the dealer what assurace you have with color matching...that is the one issue most canopy owners will complain of...and from what I've read Leer is tops there.

You can look at mine in my pics...Leer Legend, pullout thru window for easy washing and cab access, carpeted, wired interior light to main battery, third brake light all for $1100.00

Default Re: Leer vs A.R.E SHELLS

I thought I would confuse you a little more. If you like the look of the ARE, take a look at the Jason Rage. It's rounded an raised like the ARE, but it's not so extreme (long) on the sides and rear.
