But tough country...(and there isn't anything wrong with this)...bumpers look too commercial or agricultural. I want something that looks sculpted like the ARB or Road Armor something that looks like it's supposed to be there not some giant honking steel cow stopper.
But that's just my opinion.
I care about looks and functionality.
Which makes me wonder why I ever bought my bullbar...

in all fairness you might as well say.."I personally love Go Rhino, Westin, WAAG, Manik, Ares, etc" because that's just a brushguard. And everyone's brush guards are exactly the same at this point...besides a brush guard is only covering the front bumper...not acting as a full replacement bumper.
Therefore it's EXTREMELY easy for companies to mill them out on an assebly line and spit a couple thousand out after they get a few measurements from a test truck.

I want a Road Armor...I now make enough I can afford one after some minor budgeting.

Default Re: Roadarmor

has anyone called Road armor and talked to them yet about their release on the full replacement bumper for the tundras so I can push some trucks and cars on the road or off the road, (i mean push off-road). Point is how many would want a road armor bumper?????

I think we need to here get a group buy going and then maybe they will get it into production if they see the number of people wanting to purchase the aftermarket bumper. Since this site is made for tundras , it's tundra owners that need to do something about helping the production along and in my experiences of reading over the years (thousands of forums and they responses buy people) is how we have been pushing the envelope for many(any) products,

So then, of course save some money up in the process of them finishing this D@m* bumper!!!!!! AND lets start a group buy if it is possible on this type of product, and if NOT then someone (everyone wanting the bumper) call these frickin people and beoch them out!!!!!!!!!

Booooo!!!!!!!1 Diamond plateing isn't cool!! I would buy a tough country, if they DID NOT have that scrap crap laying around to use, low production costs, easy money for those creeps!, Road armor is local for me up here in Washington and it looks ten times better , so you can have your tough country.

I never live in the now, and will never settle on any less than a road armor, that is why this thread is going , and I am asking for responses about roadarmor , so keep out ofthis thread unless you or someone else has something to say about roadarmor and their products.

Peace Out

That is pretty funny...
I've gotten to the point Where I may just get an ARB and powder coat the entire unit to match the color of the truck. Mmmmm that would look pretty tight. I may call Road Armor today to see what their ETA on the Taco/Tundra Raptor Bumper is.

Daystar has a 70016 world challenge winch mount, pricy and I haven't seen a picture of it yet. If it looks anything like the Tacoma winch mount it's slick.

jamesjr4750 When you called Road Armor, did they give any reason for not responding to e-mails from potential customers with Tundras? Pretty poor on their part to just ignore potential customers even if they don't have the product on the market yet.

I too had e-mailed them, NO RESPONSE.......ever, yeah I too was not happy about that, but to hearing its coming out soon made me forget to ask about if their website even works right, (it doesn't confirm, your e-mail has been sent to verify to you they have gotten it), should be 1 1/2 to 2 weeks nowwhen its out though.

give them a call and bE@ch them ou for us, the... NUMBER IS 425-328-7194ask them why the problem(s) and whats up with their site
May be if enough of us complain, THEY WILL DO SOMETHING about it,

I in fact did get someone to fabricate the supercharger at SOS, never knew someone would make the ATI procharger kit (needs more tweaking), but never the less I put the idea into someones head, made an old post of potential superchargers like ATI, others just have the money to do something about it, I dont, so I rely on others to make the product I wish to see and wait to buy
It is in fact why this site is running to see just how many people really like their tundras and what we are willing to do to them. So post away, put some ideas out there, something is bound to pop up, if people were really smart they'll start calling and telling manufacturers and companies to start making products for the 2007 Toyota Tundra and to be on time this go around.
Just like having RCD make and 8" lift for the new 07' Tundra and to accomodate it to fit 37-39's (hoping the front differential can survive that, it had better)

Just gotta knock some sense into people , especially if it involves money it'll make them At RoadArmor, (RCD and any other companies to change their ideas and preferances to what is important once again, Toyota and the members here wanting our aftermarket products!!!
