It seems there are many of us Tundra owners looking for a good solid front bumper. Personally I like the looks of the road armor with the built in grill guard but do not see one for the Tundra. The ARB I only see one with the Sahara bar, I would like to get one with the bull bar. I would like to protect the full front of the truck.

I wish there was another option out there that would offer strength, protection, and good looks. In addition I would like to see a good rear bumper that has shackles, etc. The only one I can find is the road armor ones. I know road armor is quite proud of their work. I don't think I want to spend $2-3K on bumpers.

Has anyone else found good looking alternatives?

The base bumper that is being offered is going to cost around $1500, not 2-3K. And the Raptor base bumper has options to install the guard you are talking about. how much more expensive is it to add just thick tubes, I do not know cause their pricing is not very accurate. What i do like in fact is the brush guard style they add since it sticks out past the bumper and will act as a guard to push other cars out of your way and be protective to our truck. It will be winch capable and as you say look GREAT. It is the only reason why I have not gotten the ARB bumper, I cannot stand the way how it sticks too far forward in front of the truck and how ugly it is, like the shape and overall features to them. And I had e-maile ARB to ask if I could have the deluxe style and they told me impossible, how hard is it to pay more and add extra tubes. I was told, "we just cannot do it" WOW what great customer service. But I'm sure its as strong as it gets when it comes to heavy duty bumpers.

Roard Armor bumper are just more my style
They are paintable upon request at the factory
They have options to change and add extras upon request from the customer
And they all are very stylish and still have all the beefiness (impact resistance) of other heavy duty bumpers, maybe more than some according to the website.

I'm buying one( hello credit card ), I'll post pictures up for everyone wanting to see the finished product.

I assume you're going straight through roadarmor, how have they worked out pricing? Also, is this one going to be offered in a black base or silver base?
I REALLY WANT to see how this looks in person.

Yeah, they are just down the road from me. There are Color options to getting it the way you like it, you can even get it powder coated a chrome color or any other you can think of that will match your interests into what you want on the tundra. I'm sure they'll mix and paint just like all the others they offer.

I never live in the now, and will never settle on any less than a road armor, that is why this thread is going , and I am asking for responses about roadarmor , so keep out ofthis thread unless you or someone else has something to say about roadarmor and their products.

I've got Tough Country and it looks damn good, better than holding your breath. That is like wishing Ozzy Ozbourne to change genre and start singing disco. SCREW ARB (cosmetic junk) and Road Armor. Function is what's it's all about. Any one can bolt and glue on crap till their heart's content, but that dosn't make it functionable.

We just have to face the facts: We (yota owners) are the underdog. If you have a product that you're trying to push, what are you gonna do. Retool your operation for a few yotas, or keep making the cookie cutter rubber stamp crap for the big three. Thank you

What is it with you people in Florida, you all have such an attitude. Hurricane season again?
There is no holding my breathe here. The bumper is on its way.

No glue in these bumpers either, CAD engineering, a lot more than I can say for the diamond plated machine pressed that Tough country makes. And you picked a pretty old quote to someone else to get all offensive and crap. We are past that now. That quote of mine wasn't and is not intended for you to get all bent out of shape , just cause you have a tough country or whatever. It was meant for another user, But go ahead and blast away cause I know you can't stand it.

Hey, what is the latest. Still no update on their site -- either pictures or prices. Thanks
