Yeah, now they tell me 3 months. And it will be done. They have had to change vendors, shops, and manufacturing plants, so all bumpers were on hold, ALL bumpers. So now things are getting back into assembly.......I was told. Manufacturing has been moved down to Oregon for more space and as a midway point for shipping costs and freedom from taxes. Do you blame em'?
This Company does real well in sales and many people want the bumpers leaving prototyping of the Tundra bumper, a...... on hold item.

*UPDATE* Well you all were right, Anyone wanting this bumper can order it in August where prices will start at $1,200 for the base bumper.
Just thought I would update this and how others were right about Toyota's aftermarket stuff get pushed aside, we really are the underdog when it comes to companies thinking of making aftermarket products for the Tundra or Tacoma for that Fact.
GEEEEZZ!!!
Call them to ask , I'm sick of calling them. i've gotten its out in 1 month from february, Then was told May. Oh its going to be 2 more months. Now i'm told August and that is to take orders. Call them and ask. Tell them to take pictures and send them to your e-mail address.
And then tell them to Fix their *%@#$$@# website and update that F^&@ing thing for once the lazy B@ztards.
I've just had it with them, their Customer Service and Sales SUCKS. They tell you something and never live up to it. They let you down constantly.
The bumpers are great but, they've changed production along with staffing, and workers. We will see if the bumpers have changed as well.
Buddy of mine splurged on his Jeep Rubicon and bought front and rear Road Armor bumpers (and swing out tire carrier). Holy POS. Thin. Bent the front winch mount bumper up the first time out. Crappy design. Rear corner guard made filling gas tank a project.
ARB is where it's at- I've had three different bull bars on three different vehilces (Jeep YJ, Jeep TJ, Tacoma). Awesome designs.

Well thats nice now isn't it.
I don't know about "thin" materials as you say.... its high grade steel metals.
Yeah I don't think much of their Jeep bumpers as they're more for Rubicon and Moab for when you decide or go on your nose and would go ARB all the way. But........
I'm looking for styling and Road armor has this in their bumpers.
The Toyota Tundra bumper will be out in 2 weeks for sure I am told and the Website will be Updated with pictures of the actual bumper on a tundra and tacoma instead of just the proto-type picture.
please let me know how the road armor thing goes on your tundra
and yes i will be bying one when (if ever they come out) it is worth the wait, my buddy bought one for his ford and wow wow that is a bumper
pretty shure he could stop a train and it would not dent,
think the front one is about 200.lbs and the back is 120,lbs
his is powder coated localy,
soooo really interested on when you get yours on, and when you get it
don't care about the $ after all your bying the best!!
My 2 pennys
I've spoken to the Road Armor guys a few few times, (last time was at the Transamerican Show in Ontario, CA) and they are interested in doing a Tundra bumper - but they are running somewhat behind.
I should call them up and see where they're at....

Well its time to start ordering !!!!!!
They're made and ready to start being bought.
I don't see it on there website.. They have the new tacoma and the FJ but no Tundra....
I called Road Armor and up in the Washington state office: the Tundra bumper is there for fitting to assure it fits and is ready for sale. the work is being done at the manufacturing shop and the final bumper was there last week for the Company to overlook and make sure it fits the Road armor standards. They told me also it is sent to them for pictures and as soon as they get them they will be posted , just keep checking the website.
The bumper will be the Stealth series bumper and look very similiar, but larger of coursre than the tacoma. Thats all.
Call and ask to order they should be ready to take orders and start processing them to manufacturing. Road armor bumpers can be painted to match your truck by giving the color code # of your truck. Or to choose from other (their) colors. Extra guards are available as well I'm told to beef up the front-end even more to protect the hood and headlights, but it costs more ya know.
$1,200 for the stealth series bumper: winch and non-winch options are available.
Judging from the pics on the FJ and Tacoma the Stealth bumper by Road Armor really has the angular lines just like a real Stealth Fighter. I wonder if deflects police radar as well?
Hey JJR, were you able to get any pics from them via email?

Anyone wanting to see pictures can check my gallery and see these bumpers.
Front and rear bumpers are available.
A guard picture will be posted as soon as I get it.
Many people I beleive are going to be ordering this bumper once they see these. I know as soon as I get my cash I'm going to.
Just went "B" member in the ILWU. Local 19 in Seattle, get to start Saturday and work much more now.
Thanks for posting the pics in your gallery! I know people have been wanting to see them for a long time.
Just my humble opinion, but for some reason I'm not digging all the angular lines that these bumpers have. For me, the angularity disrupts the flow of the smooth lines and curves of the Tundra.
I'm sure they function well and its really cool that you can get them painted from the factory. I know some guys will be buying it cause they need a bumper that performs and works. For the more hard core wheelers, they probably don't care what it looks like as long as it works.
I'm not trying to take away from Road Armor or anyone who gets these bumper replacements. Its a baddass bumper. Like I said, just my humble opinion. Everyone's taste is different. Its good to see another manufacturer supporting our beloved Tundras and kudos to them and whoever else made it happen. Now we have 1 more alternative to the few brands out there.
