I think the bumper looks Ok, but due to your experience and the custmer service I am not sure I would buy one. ?? Nice looking bumper though.
I think I am going to look into the ARB. It is cheaper and it has been around longer. Nothing against RoadArmour, but I am pretty big on customer service. Check out this link for ARB pricing. ARB Winch Bars for Extreme Off Road 4x4
The ARB is cheaper, but like you said it has a totally different look than your RoadArmour one...... Either one looks like a good option as long the cusotmer service improves.

Customer Service is great , they were just in the middle of moving operations. Hiring/Firing. Getting rid of people who didn't deserve to be there and hiring new people who are more qualified for the job and that can meet a higher standard. Thats all. The original guy that made the design for the Raptor bumper is no longer there that's why another is available. Another took it on and make the Stealth Series bumper and he did it in a considerable time being as he owns Toyotas and wanted a bumper for himself on his rigs and others to come.
Reading other sites (Dodge, Ford, Jeeps) people are happy with Road armors' customer service and the bumper itself
Sure they didn't answer E-mails only because the Server site wasn't being maintained. They always answered the Phone calls and kept me informed.
Oh well enjoy the ARB.
Anyone else considering or have a Road Armor Bumper
I've been looking at Road Armor for a long time, as they seemed to make the coolest looking product out there. The only thing I wonder is about the airbag compatibility.
I'd much prefer an ARB since they seem to have it together more in their marketing and history of owners (just my impression), but they don't make the Bull bars deluxe series by ARB for Tundra's!
Has anyone bought one yet ?!!!!!!! We would like to see it on your truck if so!!!
Install , brackets!! inside the bumper, welds to put some rumors to rest about the bumpers quality and to let the pictures speak for themself. Does anyone have the bumper and the means to do so for TS members and future Toyota parts buyers?
Once I order mine I will post my own install pictures since some think this bumper will fall off which is a ridiculous thought. There is no way this could fall off and the worksmanship is not, "questionable guesswork" as I've read from a member (user) about this bumper. Yeah,.... Its huge, its heavy, it'll smash a car and I want one to protect my vehicle and use on the trails regardless of what TTORA thinks or any offroader that thinks it sucks. The stock bumper sucks! Absolutely no clearance for the truck and wheels to get up onto rocks , ruts and to gain traction. The bumper from Road Armor allows for more room for tires to grab traction instead of hanging up on everything like a stocker plastic bumper does.
ARB well sticks too far forward, they don't offer the deluxe bars and it looks funky so far forward but i love the their bracketry system , thats it.
Price is 1200+ shipping for a ARB
Road armor is $1300 painted and shipped and well is, "explosion tested", as Flying6 stated from what hes seen and again, wont fall off as someone believes.

Road Armor has informed me they are willing to do a group buy to save you some cash and possibly save $300-400+ off the original pricing.
The more people that are in this the more we will save.
Up for grabs are the:
Toyota FJ cruiser
Toyota Tacoma 05' - up
Toyota Tacoma 97 - pre 05'
Toyota Tundra 00' - 06's
Road Armor also has a Lifetime Warranty against accidents, collisions, and breakage.
Who wants one now. Income tax returns should be coming, and remember there is always a credit card.
They also will be developing a 07' Tundra Bumper. Already, are two prototype designs ready for testing when the 07's arrive. Most likey, I'm told... they will offer 2 front designs and 1 for the rear, if not more to choose from.
I will have the Group buy pricing and options from Natalie soon along with all the details.

Okay got prices and I am finalizing on other questions.
Well looks like everyone interested is going to save $300 - $400 when a minimum of 20 are bought of the Toyota bumpers.
If you want in on this E-mail me only. Also I will soon get a Group Buy Poll Going for Toyota Tundra and Tacoma Bumpers and have the FINAL PRICE QUOTES for those interested to get your bumpers. Also The FJ will be excluded as I'm told they already are priced below wholesale price
The ONLY WAY is through this site if you want to save money.
Email me as Natalie Gile said people were calling and asking about a group buy. She didn't state anything else.
Also, Get this: The Current Road Armor bumper WILL ONLY fit the Double Cab
Access Cabs have a different fitting and frame and they are currently fitting/measuring/making changes for the Access cab models
I Should know everything by Monday (29th) or Tuesday (30th)

The whole airbag concern is pretty much a non-issue. The air bags deploy when a special switch (no where near your bumper) triggers the explosive charge in the air bag. The switch uses specially designed springs that keep a little circuit-closing bearing away from its contact. When a sufficient impact is felt, the inertia in the bearing compresses the spring and makes contact with the switch, closing the circuit and firing the air bag.
Air bag deployment is NOT affected by one's bumper design, unless one wants to argue that the stronger bumpers would cause an air bag to deploy slightly more readily, as the factory bumper may absorb just enough more energy than a stiffer aftermarket bumper, such as the ARB, Tough Country or Road Armour, such that an impact may not trigger the air bag. I bet that line is a pretty fine one, though.
ARB has a crumple-zone feature in their bumper, which in my opinion, weakens the bumper somewhat, if used as a mounting point for a winch, which is often the case. ARB advertises that the bumper is compatible with air bag systems (I am not certain that this is their exact claim, but it is something like that), and to my knowledge, no other aftermarket bumper manufacturer makes that claim in writing. In my opinion, it is a matter of having the resources to test vehicles for air bag deployment upon impact, or the stones to recognize that there is really no difference and publish it as such.
