Shell security
Looking at an 08 Crewmax for my wife and new baby...we have been Toyota owners for a long time and enjoy the reliability and quality.
Looking to add a camper shell (or tonneau) to use as a lockable "trunk" (stroller, shopping, etc). Never having owned either, are they secure to theives? Seems like the rear window would be easy to "pry" open and steal whatever is in the bed with a shell. And a tonneau - the dealer had a tri-fold one that seemed nice and tough enough but reading on these forums shows most people have a slight leak...and I don't want that.
So, for those who have had either, let me know your experiences. Looking forward to my stay in the Toyota family.
