Saw a debadged Chevy the other day, and it really got me thinking. It really looked slick! So before messing with my actual truck, I decided to debadge digitally first When I searched "debadge" on the forum, lots of information came up but not many photos. At first I thought it would make the truck look cheap, but have to say it actually makes the truck look "higher class" imo. Last picture show my new color keyed bumper. Here are the results, I'm really tempted to go ahead and do it:

You have my vote for the de-badge look. It keep people guessing what yopur driving my sequoia is debadged all except the toyota emblem buit in the front grill and rear tail gate. real clean look to me car and truck have too many badges on them. They are like moving bill boards
I can't relate to the "look" question but I have been removing all dealer and manufacturer ID including replacing the grilles from all my vehicles for 15 years for the simple reason that after spending my hard earned money I am not going to throw in free advertising on top of it. Doesn't mean I am not a Toyota or Chevrolet fan (I have had numerous of both) but I assume after I buy the vehicle it is mine and not theirs any longer.
Well I took them all off the sides of the truck, muuuuuch cleaner looking. I like the painting idea tinik, but after seeing how much crap was stuck behind these, I'm not putting them back on.
I wouldn't mind getting the Tundra badge of the gen 2 like one of the members did here and put it on my 03. I didn't like the badges on mine so i had them all taken off except for the SR5 logo don't even know why i just left it on there. But I also have to agree with bstuermer too much advertisement. Good to hear that you like it better with out the badges, and the plus side to not having badges is that when you wax it, it will be easier to go through where the badge used to be instead of around it.
The de-badged looks great.. but exactly how did you get them off? I heard one guy say some fishing line, but i am more worried about the residue... i have used goof-off before on sticker labels, but dont want to remove my paint along with it...
I am actually thinking about removing the "I-force" and SR5 badges, but leaving the Tundra tag and the V8- and painting them lime green.... I am a pretty big Kawasaki fan, what can I say? There is another guy on here that painted his chrome grill strips black, and did his V-8 in cherry red, and it looked pretty pimp... we will see how Kaw-green does
de-badged 2006 dc limited yesterday except for limited. Used heat gun and fishing line 50# test. Then took most of adhesive off by just rolling with fingers then used a decal remover. I was a lot easier job than expected took about 30 min. It looks great not sure if going to leave limited on.
