Default '08 Glove Box Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the glove boxes in a '08 Tundra R.C.

It appears to be different than a '07

if its the same as my 08 DC,to remove the lower glove box, open it and pull the little shock off and then the whole thing snaps off at the bottom hinge.

I'm trying to get my lower glove box off too. I'm not sure what you mean by "little shock". The glove box on a CM appears to be held in by friction on the left side, but on the right side, there is a plastic piece that is holding the glove box in place it extends longer than the box can flex out.

Finally figured it out today....

1. Pull outward on the shock and disconnect it from the lower part of the glovebox.
2. Squeeze in on each inner side of the glovebox until the stops clear their holes. HINT: The right side is much harder than the left.
3. Gently lower the glove box until it almost hangs vertically and pull it towards you to unsnap the hinge.
4. If all else fails - Page 398 of the owners manual.....
