The damn dealor says...that is normal, nothing to do in order to tighten...
Is this true? I can't imagine that is the case, the passenger side isn't nearly as loose...

is this when the window is about a quarter or half way down? mine does that too. i just roll it all the way down. pretty lame way to deal with it, but i'm afraid of the dealer! seems there is always more problems with my truck after i visit them.

I thought that my passenger window was rattling, even had the wife ride on that side and listen and hold it she said it was the window. Turned out not to be the window , it was the outside rear view mirror. There are three torx head screws on the bottom of the mirror and the one cloest to the body of the truck was loose. The mechanic at the shop though it was internal until I saw the screw move. Tightened it up and all is well. Probably not your problem but I would guess that mine isn't the only one that will loosen up.
i hate to say it but the rattling windows really are a "feature". you need a dremel to fix it...if you really want i think i have a write-up of the process somewhere.

Is the fix using the Dremmel tool difficult? I would be interested in reading the procedure....that is an annoying rattle
