Default Clear bra, is 3m good?

I'm looking into it for Tundra and wife's car AND wondering who can give me info on pro/cons and which one is good. I read where the new 3M yellows less over time. I read another brand that 3m bought that's VENTURESHIELD.
Local guy who does 3M hates Ventureshield cause it hazes and does not have clearcoat like 3m, and local guy who does VENTURESHIELD hates 3M cause it yellows. I was told that ventureshield can tear of paint when removed.
Both our cars are a gold color, so yellowing wont be obvious.

I don't know who to believe.

I WAS TOLD that after a few years, when it has to be replaced, VENTURESHIELD can remove OEM paint sometimes.

Looking for real info from someone who knows this stuff?

I have the 3m on a good percentage of my truck. I love it. The only problem is when an object just misses the material and hits my pathetic factory paint..... I should have had the entire truck done

I hvae numerous friends with the same product on their vehicles for atleast 6-7 years now.... looks fine. They are pretty good to their vehicles...and it shows. Your best bet would be to find someone with each product and ask them. You will always get conflicting info from the shop installing said product.

I found the best way to protect the Tundra paint....just do not drive it! I know, I know.

Back to topic. I have heard good reports on the 3M bra/clearcoat option. I do not have, but, wish I did, for above comment on factory paint.

Heard Versashield is good too with lifetime warranty, but new 3M which does not yellow like previous version has a clearcoat with only a 5 year warranty, heard a little orange peal.

I do get conflicting answers form installers of both products, thats why I'm asking!

My '06 salsa red Tundra has had the 3M product for nearly 3 years now and it looks brand new, which is to say that I rarely notice it. The only time I do notice it is when I get it get so dirty that dust settles in along the edge of the product. It's stupidly expensive but I'll put it on every vehicle I buy from now on.
