My TRD grille emblem arrived today. My Molly Design Grille should arrive shortly. The emblem is peel and stick. I was expecting it to bolt on to the grille. Are all of the TRD grille emblems attached this way?

Yup! It sucks because I wanted to take my sticker off thinking it was all mesh behind it. I found out that the part where you stick the TRD emblem on was solid, so it would look kinda funny when there wasn't a sticker there.
I think the Molly Grille lacks that weird solid patch for the TRD emblem, since it wasn't designed with that emblem in mind. Some member said the old IS grille and the Molly grille are diff, and I'm guessin thats the diff.

According to a thread about the IS Bumpers, the Molly grille and the TRD grille are slightly different. I know for a fact the Molly grille isn't sold as is with an emblem. So, I doubt that Molly would sell a grille with a random patch of uncut metal on the bottom right. Also, the insert from an old grille won't fit the Molly grille. But, they're virtually the same, and Molly did design the IS grille.

One of us is being told incorrect information because I have actually talked to them and they have sent me parts, INCLUDING the TRD emblem that goes on their grille.
There are different IS Grilles, both of which I've had, but Molly made both of them.

I'm not sure where I heard it or from who (I think it might have been Jay Marks Toyota), but that's what I heard.
It was most likely me. I talked to Eric at Molly Designs about 2 weeks ago and asked him directly if the metal insert from a TRD type A grille would mount to their new MD grille. He said he thought that they had different connect points. Since I don't have a MD grille and he worked there, I took his word as gospel and passed it on to you guys.
If the grilles really are exactly the same, that's great news for me, as I intend to replace my warped grille with a MD grille. I plan to use the old warped one for the hot, grille warping summer months and the new one for the rest of the year -- swapping out the metal insert with the TRD logo from my current TRD grille between the two grilles.
