If it is functional, like it appears to be, would you guys be worried about water and stuff getting in?

It will allow slightly more (air, water, dust) into your engine bay, but without modification it can't deliver the aforementioned directly to the airbox.

I just talked to Tim at Glassworks and he gave me the following info:
  • It will work for all model Tundras
  • It comes gloss white, but will need to be painted for all applications
  • It is tapped and ready for direct bolt on of grill, hinges and hood shocks, but you must cut out holes if you want to mount the wiper fluid nozzles
  • One of the members of this site was the first one, but he didn't remember the guy's member name
  • Shipping runs from approx $80-130; no tax except in Kali
  • He will do a group buy of 5% off for 10 and 10% for 20. If there's enough interest we can put this together
If anyone can think of anything else, please post it here.

Thanks, it'd look pretty sweet on Big Green, too! BTW what happened to PnkRock13?

Unfortunately, I agree. In fact, if there's not a lot of interest pretty quickly, I'll probably go ahead and order. 5% on $425 is only $21.25. I'd like to save it, but I don't know if it's worth waiting and the extra effort of putting together a group buy.

The application years are incorrect.

When I went there it says 97-04, the Tundra only came out in 00, I can all but guarantee that it won't fit any of the T100's and in 03-04 the hood "fangs" are longer since it is missing that filler panel that the 00-02's have.

Not saying it isn't legit, but buyer beware, you may be up against much more than you thought.

Glassworks is legit. Just ask Tundra311 about them. He's got the fenders and loves them. BUT, he mentioned that the hood they had at the time didn't fit 03's. I doubt the hood pictured fits the 03.

Same here. Also, I may see what rufnek is up to. Another Fiberglass company may copy the hood he made. IMO, his looks better and will be completely functional. So I think I may wait it out for a few. The hood isn't gunna disappear if no one buys it this second...

They told me a functional air box is on it's way.... I'll wait awhile. I work with rufnek and have seen the hood.... Given it's steel and will take some time to make, but it looks ten times better! He just needs to get someone more reliable to paint the damn thing!

I stand corrected! I thought the "fangs" were longer on the 03's but I was wrong.

They do appear to be the same hood from 00-04.

My apologies, can I be forgiven?

Not doing much for me. Although they do have a nice looking bumper on that truck. Probably shoulda changed it when they changed the hood...
