Well, I did it. I backed in to an unforgiving stone wall today. At first I thought I only damaged the bumper (wasn't going that fast), my wife pointed out that the bumber had folded into the rear fender and did some pretty good damage.
I searched the forum on aftermarket rear bumpers, but didn't find anything recent. Looking for recomendations on a good, heavy duty aftermarket rear bumper that won't fold like a taco in a 5mph "bump". Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

These guys make a decent Tundra aftermarked bumper, depending on what you're looking for. They make a few different Tundra aftermarket products. I have a price list also, if you're interested. I had them email it to me yesterday.
The bumper in my pic is made by the guys at Bentup.com . I'm able to use my stock hitch. However, I'm not able to bolt the 2 flanges that originally bolted to the bottom of the stock bumper. It still works just fine. I just towed a vehicle the other day with no problems and have towed numerous junk in a trailer to the dumps.
It all depends on what the purpose of the aftermarket bumper is. If it's just a replacement, then the one dyogim has is great, looks great, works great. However, if you're looking for better departure angle for off roading, a tube bumper, possibly the wrap-around style like I'm looking into, would be a better fit. Bent-up and tough country will both fab one up for you if you're willing to pay.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Had the estimate yesterday for repair to my truck. Over $1400. They are going to charge a little over $400 for the rear bumper, and some more for the passenger side bracket. So...
I should have about $500 to spend on an aftermarket bumber instead.
PS I think Dyogim is talking about the 2 bolts that are above teh square receiver tube and bolt to the bumper in front of the license plate. I have a Sure Pull, and it doesn't have those bolts so I should be ok.
Thanks again guys, keep the suggestions comming!
PSS Took my truck to the dealership this morning for an oil change. My mechanic (who I have known for about 20 years) said "If you put one more thing on this truck, I'm not working on it anymore". I said "So you mean I get a divorce and I lose my mechanic?"
Those are the ones I'm talking about. If you look at the stock bumper there should be 2 round plastic caps in the middle right below the license plate. If you take those off, 2 bolts are inserted through there and are bolted to the factory hitch.
I do have a hitch and it is currently on. The only problem I had is from the 2 tabs that originally attached to the bottom of stock bumper. I had to bend them down to bolt the hitch back on. Other than that everything is fine. I'll take a pic and post tomorrow of the bumper with the hitch. I'm also suppose have the new bumper made next sunday. woohoo!
