It is better to remain silent and have people wonder if you are an idiot, rather than to open your mouth and prove to everyone you are an idiot beyond all doubt. ~ Jim Rogers
I had a suggestion from JBToy that its possible some may prefer a blank fuse lid. I can post this model, and please remember that the engraved lid is a subtle outlined non painted lettering. So with that in mind...is plain....just plain better??
Thanks Kevin for taking the time to post up another option.
Hello Gang:
Kevin took the time to post up an option. Trying to understand what the majority prefer for this new accessory. Easier to play in virtual world before cutting stock, so it will be helpful to see what you want. I like both options, but here is a chance to let Kevin know for sure. We have to keep in mind, Kevin cannot make too many different options, because of setup time, etc. So far, a couple of TS's have replied already for the plain. What do the rest of you prefer, the plain option or the billet/USA engraved? Thanks. Anxious to see the finished product, either way.

The mod list is long. Check pics in my gallery here or my cardomain home for details.
I lean toward the plain version - I think it would compliment the
throttle body cover yet not detract from what is now the focal point
when you open the hood. Just received mine yesterday and couldn't
be happier. Great work!

While I like the first revision, I think I'll jump on the "plain" bandwagon as well. Sometimes simple is better. Easier for you too!
Thanks!

Hey Verndog, plain is fine. I was fine with the other example as well though. I just hate to see you make these and not get any advertising out of it. Maybe you could put a small company logo on it somwhere?
Again, not for looks, just think you should get credit when people open the hood and see the cool accessories.

Although that would be nice, what is most important is that people get what they want...consensus is clear that plain is better...I'm good with that..cause in the long run it will be more desireable to the many.
I can logo the back side like I did the TB covers....or I could put a small PPD on left end on the same strip as the RELAY & FUSE if people think thats OK...
It would appear that plain is the TS choice. I will be a little easier to make as well...a win win for all...(snip by JB) .
Kevin
Kevin,
No need for thanks. You are doing the work and all of us appreciate what you are doing. Just a lesson learned for me in marketing. Do I offer what I think is best or do I test the market to confirm what is the consensus choice. It takes the personal element of the seller out of the equation. Imagine, you offer a great product in red, but the market wants a green one. You say, "what?????", but, you make it in green because that is what the demand side is saying.
Currently, you have no competition, (though I am sure you will start to get noticed with your quality), so might as well test "consumer feedback" prior to
product introduction. As you said...win-win. BTW, logo on underside is still nice, just to show where it came from. Otherwise, the product quality will speak for itself. I open hood...service tech or whomever says...I want one of those...I say, of course, go here to get one....PPD is located at.....Keep up the good work. Willing to support, where ever I can. I have some ideas that I am willing to share, but, you are still the final decision maker, and that is the way it should be.
