Ive got a regcab. I emailed Waag and inquired if their wheel 2 wheel nerfs will fit on a regcab, since they are designed for access cab trucks. I think all the frames are the same and shouldnt matter, but want to be 100% before buying. Waag sent me the instructions and cartoon diagram of nerf installation. However, I want to be sure I have the right "horizontal slots" in the frame. Can anyone who has these nerfs take a pic of the front and back mounting points?
The front is supposed to be "near transmission mount" and the back "under frame-to-body mount near rear leaf spring".
If no one has pics, Ill take pics of my frame and hopefully someone can tell me which holes it is!
Thanks!

Reason: trying to add attachment...
Most likely, I believe that is where I mounted mine.
Ask them for a measurement from hole center to hole center? The holes I mounted mine to were 63.25" apart. Those look like the same holes that mine were mounted to. I am sure Waag copied us!

I measured those holes and its 63.25" exactly. Damn. I knew all tundras had the same frame. Why cant some manufacturer figure this out and just build 1 nerf for all tundras? I some regcab guys would rather have longer nerfs anyway!
However, I might not get the Waags. I might get Bully 4 step bars instead. The bullys are about $150. Waags are $350+. Im not convinced that the cost is worth it...Unless someone knows of some cheaper wheel-2-wheel nerfs?
Here are the spots for Westin wheel-to-wheel nerfs. They cost more than WAAGs since they're stainless.
Front http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...cat=998&page=1 which is the same spot you took a photo of. The bolt goes through the slot closest to the body mount.
But the rear mount is different. Your frame has the slot past the body/bed mount,my frame has the slot at the mount's reinforcement area. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...cat=998&page=1
Wheel-to-wheels may look a little odd on a regcab due to the 3 steps.

I went to my dealer today (on Sunday so they wouldnt bother me). Snapped some pics of a 4WD Access Cab Tundra Frame. The frames are slightly different, though I might be OK mounting nerfs. Heres the new pics of the 4WD access cab.
Eddie,
thanks for the pics. The back bracket appears to be the same, or at least Im 90% sure I can use the back. The pic of the front bracket is a bit too far zoomed in for me to get my bearings on where the bracket is. If I could see the transmission mount crossmember in the pic, it might be easier to tell.
I didnt think of it while I was at the dealer, but I might need to check a 2WD access cab tundra. I suppose the transmission mount cross member could be different on 2WD vs 4WD tundras.
I just installed these ICI nerfs from Truckextras.com. They were made for the regular cab and fit perfectly. Cost was $226.
rmail,
Nice truck! I kinda wish I had the $$$ for a V8 4WD SR5 regcab. Two weeks after I bought mine (ad in paper for $15,995) they had an SR5 in the paper for $19,995. Not sure I could keep up on those payments. Oh well I like my truck anyway. I dont have a cap, so I wanted to get nerfs that went farther back than just the cab. That way I can use the nerf to hop in the bed, rather than the tire which is kinda high.
I had Bully's on my access cab Tundra and now I have them on my quad cab Tacoma. They are very good quality chrome polished stainless steel at an affordable price. I got them on the internet for about $250.
