Question Factory Tint question?

Does anyone know what percentage is used? I want to tint my two front doors on my double cab but I want it to match the rest of the truck.... If you know that would be great, thanks...

On my Tundra the rears are 17% from the factory or so I was told from my window tinting place and that is what they tinted the fronts to. It looks great but since the large windshield has no tint on it, they often appear a bit lighter than the rears with all that light coming through the front.

Sometimes they are pitch black though also!

On my truck there are markings on the rear door windows of GL-20. I was told that this is the tint percentage. I don't if this info is accurate.

I have a friend that does tinting for a living and he said it's 20% when I asked about doing my front two windows.

Yeah I know.... I had limo tint on my solara for 2 years and never once had any problems.... I think it just depends on the mood they are in..... I will probably go a tad be lighter then the 20%.....
