Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "anyone put flames on their tundra?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
That still doesn't justify flames. But to bartch's question, I would never add flame DECALS to begin with. If I ever got flames they'd be custom painted. Decals look mad ricey and cheesy.

Not sure if your looking to "paint" or "decal" your truck with flames, but there was one other TS member who'd also "flamed" his truck (a DC), with decals. They looked pretty awesome. Check it out here. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...sort/1/cat/500
Johnny (a.k.a. 2theedge1974) told me, that he ended up removing the decals, because... he was concerned about the decals leaving an "edge" and/or "discoloration" under the decal, on the paint, if the decal were ever to be removed for an reason, especially if left on for a lengthy period of time. Considering how inferior Toyota paint (in general) seems to be... I'd have to agree with his reasoning. So, that said... if I were to do flames, I think I'd go with paint. Now, on the other hand, if you plan on leaving a decal application (like Jonny's) in place perminately... then this whole point of paint vs. decal is... kinda' mute! Wouldn't you say?
Either way... the link I have or the link Agent WD-40 has, are awesome looking flame jobs.
Dave
