I recently bought a used 2002 Tundra Access Cab with a Line-X spray in bed liner. I've noticed that water collects in the front of the bed after a rain and especially after a car wash. I love the spray in bed liner, but I think, except for the tailgate gap, it's so waterproof that I could turn it into a pond and keep fish back there!
How should the bed drain? I assume drain holes were plugged up by the bed liner.
...not quite the responses I was expecting. Shouldn't there be a factory drain hole that needs to be opened up or something like that? Or, does water just normally leak through the seams that have now been sealed?
My truck has a bit of rake (rear higher than the front), probably due to the off-road package, so it does take a bit of a hill for water to drain out.
I have a '03 Tundra X Cab. After Line-X got through they had sprayed over (and hence sealed) the oval-shaped plastic drain plugs up near the cab.
If I were to drill holes I would do it there. There is no chance that you can get any rust in the future by drilling the plastic hole covers. Also, if push-came-to-shove the hole covers could be replaced or removed.

The plastic plugs in the front corners of the bed originally had small holes. I redrilled the holes after the Line-X & have never had water pool in the front. Like george60 said, drilling through the plastic will eliminate any chance of rust in the future.
there are 2 oval-shaped plastic drain plugs on the front of the bed floor, but they're more than likely covered in line-x. you could cut around the line-x to remove them, i guess.
high tech... i guess you could go to a boat shop and get a bilge pump or something.
when i had mine rhino lined they took out the caps and that where my drains are. mind that they arent as big as stock, but no cutting required

I have a drop in bedliner, so I'm going from memory here because I only take it out once a year to clean under it. I thought that where the bed floor meets the front bed wall (where the cab is) had several areas where the two did not meet fully, in other words, molded in drain holes.

There is a 1/8" to 3/16" gap between the bottom of my truck bed and the front vertical surface of the bed. Water just pours straight out of the crack when the truck is parked. I had it Line-X'd and water still flows out readily.
I'm surprised nobody shared the same experience. HMM.
EDIT: get under the truck and see if you can spot the "gap" . I'd drill or punch that part out to get it to drain properly again.

When my bed was line-xed, that gap was covered and sealed.
Can't believe you guys let the line-x installers get away with spraying over the plastic plugs. That's just nuts!!!! Why didn't you point them out in advance and make them remove them before spraying. Unbelievable!!!
Did they also spray over the cargo hooks?
The bolts and hooks were not sprayed. As far as the bed plugs, it's not a big deal to me.
