Default Which interior is darker:grey or light charcoal?

I`m confused with the interior color choices of "grey" or "light charcoal".
Which of these two is the real dark color?
Thanks as always.

I am not at home now so i can't look at my window sticker but I am almost positive the grey is the light gray and the light charcoal is the darker grey. I have the darker gray in my 03 Tundra which i believe was called light charcoal on the sticker. I had the real light grey on my 02 Tundra which I think was called grey on the sticker. Hope this helps, I may have confused you even more.

The light charcoal is the grey that I always saw when I was shopping around for my tundra. It is a true grey to me. The toyota "Grey" color looks more light-blue'ish to me and not really grey. This has been my experience on the older tundras, not sure if anything changed from the 03's and up.

If you go to www.toyota.com/tundra and step thru the build process, you will see that the grey is darker than the charcoal.

Maybe this will help.....does anyone have the original window sticker or build sheet? There will be an interior color code number on it.
I can`t believe Toyota makes the names of these colors so difficult to figure out.I thought this would be an easy question!!??
Thanks again,anyway.

I looked at my original window sticker before posting that grey is the lighter color. My sticker says "gray cloth" and I do indeed have the lighter interior. The color codes for my truck off the sticker are "silver sky met/graycloth (01D6/10)" as taken directly off the sticker. Mine is a 2001. I did just see on that Toyota sight where they refer to the darker color as gray. So the confusion continues, sorry. Perhaps a call to the dealer would really clear it up.

Yes i forgot about that, you are absolutely right. When I was shopping for my 03 about a year ago I looked at several trucks that had gray interior and they looked blue just like you said so I was wrong about my original post. I really don't remember what they called the light gray or what they call my current color.

But to the orginal fellow who started this post I will tell you this. I have the darkest gray available, a very dark rich charcoal. I don't know what they call it because I just went out and looked at my sticker and here is what it said

Natural White/FB12 0056/12

If you can figure out what interior color that is that will be the color you want if you want the darkest.

Thanks.FB12 is the winner for the darkest. It took the dealer almost all day to figure this out and then get back to me. He too was confused with the names and could not figure it out. He had to physically look at a Tundra with dark interior and then said it was FB12.
Light charcoal to me is on the same lines as saying white /black!!!!!!
Thanks,I want to make the right choice since I am ordering this Tundra to be built.

I just went thru this. BE aware that the codes are Fb and fc. There are 2 choices for the Fb (bench) and three for the Fc (captains) The captain chair choices are: Charcoal is the lightest. Stone has light gray seats with darker dash and door parts. Gray has all dark seats and door and dash. If you're getting captains chairs look at all three.

I just contacted my dealer and set him straight after reading the FB and FC diiference. Thanks, he was clueless. So, basically, if I want the darkest interior I am going to order FC12 in grey.
Now I need a the code for a cold beer !!????
