Default Bed stake holes in a 2000 Tundra

Hey all,

I have a 2000 Tundra Limited that I purchased new with the Toyota tonneau cover installed. I have just replaced the factory cover with an Access cover, great product so far.

When I removed the original cover it exposed the bed stake holes witout any type of covers / inserts, and the Access cover leaves these exposed and it looks unfinished. I thought there were some kind of covers of inserts in these holes that maybe the dealer mechanic threw out or kept.

Can anyone tell me if there are supposed to be stake hole covers from the factory?

Thanks, Brian

Mine did not have any stake hole covers, though I did not have the Toyota Tonneau either.

no stake hole covers here, but i do have over-the-rail line-x, so i leave them open...open holes have come in very handy a few times.

The 2000 were left open, 2001 and newer have bed rail covers.

I linked to some pretty inexpensive ones on ebay that seem to be good quality, Keeper brand bull rings.
