Default Who is waiting for a TRD version throttle cover??

First off....they are still being evaluated by TRD.....could be up to another 30 days before they are done. I am posing more of a question of curiosity and potential orders if / when approved.

I know there are alot of Tundra owners wanting to stick to the TRD theme, so my question is...if the TRD throttle body cover becomes available would you order one?

This question is for those that thought about it but haven't bought one yet...or are holding out for the TRD version...if you prefer to keep it off record you can PM the answer to me.

Not the best pic...too much glare...but here is a pic of it.

TRD throttle body cover

OH...BTW...if you are wanting one...you would be smart to purchase a cover now still on sale...5 left at discount price...and pick up a TRD plate after approval...cause I promise, the TRD version will not be $80.00! This sale is offered in cooperation with Tundra Solutions to help me reduce some excess inventory.

Kevin,

I would be interested in the replacement plate.

Kev,

You KNOW i'm definately interested in a TRD plate. if memory serves me right, I was supposed to get one originally until all that mess started up. So if it does get approved, you may add me to the top of that list.

I don't think he meant just the plate. I believe Kev is looking at how much more people are going to buy once TRD is approved. I think most everyone that bought the TB Cover will buy the TRD replacement plate.

Correct...I'm attempting to gage inventory to prepare for possible approval. I know there were many interested at first when it was a TRD cover, then some backed out after the TRD option was put on hold.

Inventory is my #1 problem right now...and costly to just keep around...

I am definitely interested in the TRD version.

You seem to be suggesting that it would be cheaper for me to buy one of the exiting overs in inventory and buy a replacement TRD plate if/when approved. Do I got that right?

I would be interested in the TRD plate also. I have the blank plate that was included with the TB, so I could send it back to help cover material costs if it helps.

I wanted to let those know that have made an effort to get me some contact info to market the covers...that yes I really appreciate it. The reason I am holding off for now is the TRD option is undecided, and I need to see which way that swings before I make commitments to other options. At that point, I can decide knowing the outcome of this, which direction is best.

I should be within the next 30 days before I find out.

Thanx All!
Kevin
