Default Door Sill Parts

Has anyone repaired their door sill. The plastic nuts or holders under mine have strippped and bent so I cannot get the screws to tighten to hold down sill.

Your correct, I just took another look at it. I have one tab left (instead of two) for each hole. Toyota wanted $60.00 for one so I will give your way a try, Thanks.

Yeah, the dealer replaced mine under warranty. I had the same issue. Ryan's idea will work or you can wrap some tape around it on the bottom where it goes it the whole so that it expands a little more.

If you have them, bigger screws are a better idea but a couple wraps of tape will fill the gap.

Think I will try the tape idea, the larger screws sound like they would work
but if you I remove them a couple of times I would need bigger ones after awhile and on and on we go. Wish they would make things so we could repair rather than replace.
Thanks

Another option is to get that part used at a junk yard. It would be half price or less. It's a pain that you can't just get those clips.
