Applying TRD sticker to Ivan TRD grill (tips and location)
I just got a TRD sticker. It is the one that goes on the front of the TRD grill. I was wondering how you install it? Is there anything special I should to do prepare the surface, or just do a general clean of the surface and stick it on there?
Also, where exactly were they located on the TRD grills? I know they were bottom right, but could somebody provide me with a measurement to go with? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply Glenn. That isn't quite what I'm looking for though. I need the location of the TRD logo on that goes on the Ivan Stewart TRD grill, not the TRD logo that goes on the side of the body.
I'm also looking for install tips to get the sticker to stick well to the grill.

The TRD grilles have a "pad" for mounting the emblem (an area with no holes). The Molly grilles do not. I wasn't sure how well the emblem would adhere to my Molly grille given the lack of surface area from the holes so I made a mount for the emblem. I traced the TRD pattern on a piece of 1/4" steel and cut it with a band saw. Then I measured the hole spacing and drilled a couple of holes. I then welded on two machine screws (countersunk). This gave a nice flat surface to mount the emblem and the 1/4" plate (painted black) gave a nice effect. I know, overkill. I was thinking about using a plastic plate and epoxy to hold the screws but the steel plate was on hand. About the same time I finished the mounting plate, the grille I had on for a week began to dimple. I returned the grille. The mount is somewhere in my garage. I'll post a pic if I can find it.

I got it on there. Thanks for the help! It looks good IMO.
I have to confess as to why I wanted this sticker... I ran into a friend and he acted surprised to see me there. I was surprised that he was surprised because I had seen him park right next to me in the parking lot. He said that he didn't recognize my truck with the new grill and had thought it was a Ford. Well I had to put an end to that so I put the TRD sticker on front.

Someone I know said the same thing right when I got the grille, so I went ahead and put the sticker on. It's no fun when someone mistakes your truck for a "Fix Or Repair Daily" (FORD) .

I have been looking everywhere (besides where you guys prolly have looked). If you can help me locate a site where I can purchase the sticker, I would appreciate it!

My sticker was actually sent to me by a gracious TS member who had an extra one. I had talked with Carson Toyota when I ordered my grill and they said they would include one for $15 extra. So I'm assuming you can try Carson Toyota (in Carson, Ca) and see if they can give you one. I believe the normal dealer list price on them is $19. Have you tried ebay?
You can always just get on the phone with Toyota dealers and see what you can turn up or try your local Toyota parts department.
