Default Rear seat head rest removal

Is there a way to remove the head rests from the back seat of my 2K2 Tundra? I didn't see any sort of release and when I attempted to pull them off by force they seemed to want to tear. The reason I want these off is to have greater access to the interior rear windows for more thorough cleaning.

Raise the headrest and look at the square plastic pieces that the chrome tubes of the headrest goes through. One (only one) of the plastic pieces will have a push in button to release the headrest. Push the button in and pull up on the headrest. Hope this helps.
