Default toyota bedliner

do any of u guys know if toyota makes a bedliner that not only protects the side rails but also gives access to the anchor holes? i recently got a bedliner put in by toyota but it covers the holes up, which defeats the purpose for them. so i told the dealer and they r ordering some other bedliner. i searched toyota's website but couldn't find a bedliner that they r ordering. by the way i have a base tundra (8ft bed).

I have the over the rail bedliner like you describe. What they are ordering is probably the under the rail bedliner which will not cover the stake pockets, nor the rails. Id tell them to cancel the order and go to your nearest line-x or rhino linings dealer and get it sprayed.

well this bedliner was negotiated with the car. i told them that i still need the rail protection and access to the anchor holes. so now they r ordering something that will protect and give access to the holes, but i can't figure out what part they r getting. if it does turn out to be an under the rail, then i will tell them to just cut holes for the pockets

Default Consider this...

Welcome to the 8ft. bed club!

Maybe you can get the dealer to take the bedliner back and use that money to get an over the rail Line-X spray in liner.
You will have access to your hooks and anchor holes and everything is protected. I have this on both of my trucks.

BTW I am still waiting until it warms up a bit more to drill out my stake pocket holes. The bedliner shrinks up as much as 1 inch in winter. I have some Keeper pop up tie downs that I need to install. I think Ill borrow my sister's rotozip and see how it does cutting that plastic. If that doesnt work, Ill use my corded drill with 1 inch spade bit, and then maybe a keyhole saw to enlarge the holes. If Id have just found the TS before buying this goofy bedliner! I too negotiated it in the price of the truck in 4/2003. I hate to just throw it out or try to sell at a huge loss and blow more money on rhino

Default Alternative to bedliner

I have been pondering the bedliner for a while, but could never find the right deal, time, whatever my excuse was.

I found something that fits perfectly, leaves access to the hooks, and still protects.

BED RUG..

by WISE
Bedrug

brand new and delivered is still cheaper than any bed liner.

bought mine slightly used from a guy here on TS (who protected it with a camper shell and sold it under 200)

great condition I will post pictures but the website shows pictures which do it justice. I believe "Lil cute surfer girl" has pics up too.

Looks and feels great (just installed today).
